Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Your down payment for ANY AP exams is due TODAY. If you turn in your money after TODAY you will be responsible for the $40 late fee per AP exam in addition to the regular fees! Please see Ms. Lewis in the Guidance office if you have any questions.

If there is any junior interested in taking a course at LLCC for their teacher pipeline program, please see Mrs. Metz

From the College Room…

 The Navy will be in the Commons during lunch TODAY

Seniors - On Wednesday from 10:30 - 12:30, Alex from ISAC, Kim from LLCC and Jannazzo will be in the Library to assist with any college applications and with setting up your FAFSA IDs. You will need to know your social security number. Stop by Wednesday during your lunch or ask your teacher to sign your pass to attend.

Do you want to be a teacher? Golden Apple - the teacher scholarship people, will be in the Library at 1:45 on Thursday, Nov 14th. Email tjannazz@sps186.org if you would like to attend.

Are you interested in a career in the Trades? Permission slips for the Building Trades Career Expo are outside the College Room. Join us for the field trip on Tuesday, November 19 from 9:15 to 11:00 by returning your permission slips by November 14th to the College Room 121.

Attention all wrestlers! Our first practice is TODAY! Come to the gym after school. Any students interested in joining the wrestling team are welcome to attend as well. See Coach Gardner in room 127 if you have any questions.

Boys basketball tryouts begin TODAY at 6:30 PM in the gym. All athletes must have a current sports physical and a 2.0 spring semester GPA to participate. 

Talking about basketball..we hope to see everyone this Friday night November 15th for our blue and gold game. Our girls and boys basketball teams will scrimmage. We will host shooting contests and welcome back alumni for an alumni game. Our poms and cheer squad will lead the crowd as we prepare for an exciting season. Admission is $5.00. The event begins at 5:30 PM.

All fall athletes are reminded to turn in your uniforms to the T-Will or the new athletic assistant, Mr. Williams in the main office. 

Wrestlers, boys swimmers, and basketball players must turn in their yellow athletic cards and $85 activity fee prior to their first game or meet.

We are bringing back Gift Card Giveaway Friday!! For anyone who doesn’t know last year Coach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone,headphones, and dress code referrals. I know everyone is worried because they may have received a referral from Quarter 1 for something, but guess what? Coach LT said you know what, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes, so we are going to start FRESH this Wednesday, October 23. What does that mean? Anyone referral free from Wednesday, October 23 through the end of the school year is entered into a drawing every Friday. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements! So stay referral free to win a gift card on Coach LT!
