ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsWe are bringing back Gift Card Giveaway Friday!! For anyone who doesn’t know last year Coach LT and Senator Doris Turner teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things were offered, but one thing everyone enjoyed and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. I know everyone is worried because they may have received a referral from Quarter 1 for something, but guess what? Coach LT said you know what, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes, so we are going to start FRESH this Wednesday, October 23. What does that mean? Anyone referral free from Wednesday, October 23 through the end of the school year is entered into a drawing every Friday. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards on announcements Friday mornings to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements! So stay referral free to win a gift card on Coach LT! | The Southeast Boys Basketball team was the recipient of a grant funded through the IL Criminal Justice Information Authority and championed by Doris Turner to promote anti-violence in schools. One way to promote anti-violence is through students maintaining good grades and making all around good decisions. A portion of the grant funds have been allocated to reward our students who are getting good grades with t-shirts bearing the anti-violence patch. These shirts should serve as a great reminder to strive for good grades and continue to make good decisions that will lead to a successful future. When you see a student rocking the swag be sure to congratulate them for being LOCKED IN! Those students who were on the honor roll first quarter will be receiving their shirts Thursday or Friday. Congrats and wear them to Friday night’s Blue and Gold game in order to get a $1 off your admission! |
